INTERNATIONAL CHEFS DAY 2014:  This year's International Chefs Day theme: "Pass it On", Underlines the importance of education and - the exchange of different skills and knowledge as the key elements for further growth of the profession. Passing on ones professional skills to the budding chefs is very important. The message to the younger generation is to stay calm, focus and always be proud of your profession of being a Chef.

Dr.YSR. National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) – Gachibowli, Hyderabad, celebrated World’s chef day, in association with Hands in Hospitality. On the 20th Oct’14 at 06:30 am, A bicycle rally was flagged off from the Biodiversity Park at Gachibowli ; by the Chief Guest, Chef. Rakesh Upadhyay F&B Director of Westin Hotel – Hyderabad, Guest of honor Mr.Nagaraju from Epicurus Hoospitality along with Principal of NITHM – Sri.S. Sudha Kumar. The Chief Guest in his message stated that the Food Retailing Industry is on the rise and it opens more employment opportunity for chefs. Other distinguished guests were Mr.Ramesh Chandra and Mr.Yadagiri from Hands in Hospitality along with about 120 students from Pioneer Institute of Hotel management, Blooms College of Hotel management and NITHM along with their faculty members all joined in celebration.
