Blood Donation Camp at NITHM Campus in Collaboration with Brahma Kumaris and NIMS Hospital
A Blood Donation Camp was organized at the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) on 25th August 2025, in collaboration with Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) Hospital and the Brahma Kumaris Organization.
The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Venkata Ramana, Director of NITHM, who appreciated the noble initiative and encouraged students and staff to participate actively in social service activities.
A total of 35 members, including NITHM students and staff, volunteered to donate blood during the camp. The medical team led by Dr. Rafath from NIMS, Hyderabad, ensured smooth and safe conduct of the donation process.
Sister Sakshi from the Brahma Kumaris and her team also participated and motivated donors with inspiring messages on the value of service to humanity.The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. N. Yadagiri, Librarian and Blood Donation Camp Coordinator, with the support of faculty, staff, and student volunteers.
