Akshya Patra-BSc Final Students Visit
Industrial Visit: 6 th Semester and 2 nd Semester Students of BSc (H&HA) conducted an industrial visit to Akshaya Patra to study large-scale kitchen operations and logistics. Part of the academic curriculum for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA), final-year students visited the Akshaya Patra Foundation. Established in the year 2000, this non-profit organization is a pioneer in implementing the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) scheme to eliminate classroom hunger in India. Vision: To ensure that no child in India is deprived of education due to hunger. Scale: Operates 78 kitchens nationwide, serving approximately 2.5 million (25 lakhs) meals daily to government and government-aided schools.
