NITHM has a very good reputation record for its placement from inception; Over 4000 students have been placed and many are doing well in the service industry to-day. The students of all varied courses MBA (Tourism & Hospitality); BBA (Tourism & Hospitality) under Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University – Hyderabad and B.Sc (Hotel & Hospitality Administration) under the aegis of (NCHMCT) National Council of Hotel & Catering Technology – New Delhi; are employed by some of the well known top recruiters in the industry of travel & tourism, airline; airport; hotel; event and facility management companies.
The Placement & Training Division provides overall supervision and directions for summer and winter internships as well as final placement of the students of MBA; BBA & B.Sc. The committee consists of one Faculty as Placement Officer along with the Principal; coordinated by HoD faculties and is chaired by the Director.
NITHM always seeks to meet the increasing demands of fast emerging business scenarios; the institute helps students to enhance their Soft Skills; People Management and Entrepreneur Development Skills that help honing their abilities of getting best placements at the desirable level. Regular Counseling; Personality Development Training Programmes; Workshops; Seminars and Industry Guest Interactions are conducted to understand the students and also help them prepare for their final placements.
Impressive arrays of reputed companies from all over India approach and visit NITHM each year to recruit students for internships and final placements. Since 2018, with the international exposure for internships; competitions and student exchange programs it has scaled up the zest for competition among the students. Many students have also achieved job offers while doing their internships.
The placement committee maintains a constructive relationship with potential employers and encourages them to interact with students frequently for a better understanding between the employers and the students. "If you don't love what you do, you won't do it with much conviction or passion."
