Admission Notification: BBA in Tourism and Hospitality at NITHM

The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad, offers a four-year full-time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Tourism and Hospitality. The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H). This program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for a successful career in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Entrance Examination:
Applicants should have qualified in any of the following entrance exams:

• Undergraduate Aptitude Test (UGAT)
• Joint Entrance Examination by NCHMCT (JEE-NCHMCT)
• AIMS Test for Management Admissions Undergraduate (ATMA-UG)
• Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)
• Equivalent examinations
• Candidates who have not appeared for any of the above exams can take NITHM's Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test (THAT).

Age Limit:

• General, OBC, and Physically Handicapped: 22 years
• SC/ST candidates: 25 years

Admission Process

• Application Submission:
  • Candidates must fill out the application form available on the NITHM website.
  • An application fee of INR 600 must be paid before submission.

• Entrance Test:
  • Applicants should have valid scores from the accepted entrance exams.
  • Those without valid scores must appear for NITHM’s Analytical Writing Test (AWT).

• Personal Interview:
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to assess their suitability for the program.

• Admission Confirmation:
  • Selected candidates will be notified and must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
