2-Year MBA in Tourism & Hospitality (Including Internship)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism & Hospitality is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to prepare graduates for leadership and managerial roles in the tourism, hospitality, travel, aviation, events, and allied service industries. The curriculum combines classroom learning, case studies, industry projects, and a mandatory internship to provide students with real-world business and management experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants seeking admission to the MBA programme must fulfill the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Candidates should have appeared for and qualified in any recognized Management Aptitude Test such as MAT or ICET.
• Selection is based on performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the Institute.
• Foreign Nationals, NRIs, and ICCR-sponsored candidates are eligible for direct admission, subject to proof of English language proficiency.
• Candidates must submit a Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.

Reservation of Seats

Admissions are made in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government and the University.

Reservation is available for:

• Women Candidates – One-third of the total sanctioned intake.
• Scheduled Castes (SC) – 15%
• Scheduled Tribes (ST) – 7.5%
• Differently Abled Candidates – 3%
• Industry-Sponsored Candidates / Entrepreneurs – 10%
• Foreign Students – Up to 15% of the sanctioned intake.
• Reservation for BC candidates and weightage for outstanding achievements in Sports, NCC, Cultural Activities, as well as nominees from Union Territories and North Eastern States, are provided as per applicable Government and University norms.

4-Year BBA in Tourism & Hospitality (Including Internship)

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Tourism & Hospitality is a comprehensive undergraduate programme that prepares students for exciting careers in hospitality, tourism, hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, event management, travel operations, and entrepreneurship. The programme integrates management education with practical industry exposure through internships, skill development, and experiential learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

• Passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Maximum age limit: 25 years.
• Selection is based on a Personal Interview conducted by the Institute.
• A limited number of seats are available for Industry-Sponsored Candidates.
• Candidates must produce a Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.
• DOST is an online portal meant for all the Intermediate passed students in the state seeking admission to Degree Programmes.

3-Year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration
