FTCCI Launches Photo and Reel Contests to Promote Tourism in Telangana

The Tourism Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), in collaboration with the Telangana Tourism Department, GHMC, and the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), has launched two creative contests — “Hyderabad Junction Jewels: Photo Contest” and “Weekend Getaways of Hyderabad: Reel Contest.”

These initiatives aim to promote local and weekend tourism by encouraging citizens to rediscover and capture Hyderabad’s beauty, urban icons, and nearby attractions within a 150 km radius. The contests are open to all with no entry fee, and winners will be felicitated on November 26, 2025.

Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Director, NITHM, appreciated FTCCI’s initiative, stating:

“Such creative engagements play a vital role in promoting community participation in tourism. By encouraging people to explore and showcase the beauty and culture of Hyderabad and its surroundings, these contests align perfectly with the vision of sustainable and experiential tourism in Telangana.”
