As part of its commitment to strengthening industry–academia collaboration and enhancing the uality of higher education, the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Government of Telangana.
The MoU focuses on promoting excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education through collaborative initiatives such as Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), practical training sessions, skill enhancement workshops, Train-the-Trainer programmes, curriculum enrichment activities, internships, industry exposure visits, and capacity-building initiatives for faculty members and students across government degree colleges in Telangana.
Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Director, NITHM, along with MoU Committee members Dr. Niraj Gohil, Smt. K. Sirisha Murthy, Dr. N. Yadagiri, and other faculty members, participated in the State-Level Programme on School Reopening, inauguration of academies, and foundation stone-laying ceremonies for various development initiatives held at LB Stadium, Hyderabad.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy and the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana. The programme showcased the Government of Telangana’s vision of fostering meaningful partnerships between educational institutions and government bodies to create a skilled workforce and strengthen the higher education ecosystem.
