Hyderabad, 26th September 2025: The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) celebrated the vibrant and colorful Bathukamma festival on campus today under the guidance of Prof. Venkata Ramana, Director, NITHM. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, who came together to create beautiful floral arrangements and immerse themselves in the traditional festivities.
Bathukamma, a signature festival of Telangana, symbolizes the cultural heritage and unity of the region. The celebrations at NITHM showcased this rich tradition and fostered a spirit of community and joy among all participants.
Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi Ravi, Assistant Professor and Coordinator for Bathukamma Celebrations, led the event, with active participation from Dr. M. K. Ganesh, Dean of Tourism, Dr. Niraj Gohil, other faculty members, and staff. The festivities took place by the picturesque lakeside on campus, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere for everyone involved.
