ONE DAY-ALUMNUS INTERACTION with FACULTY and STUDENTS on “Emerging Trend in Tourism & Hospitality Sector – Technology Competency Enhancement” Conducted at NITHM on 20/05/2026 at NITHM from 10.00 AM to 01.30 PM. Total participants 42.

Objectives of the Session:

This Alumni interaction with faculty and students will help Bridge the gap between academia and industry practices. The Faculty members ignite to emerging technological trends in tourism and hospitality. It will enable the understanding of the current industry trends, expectations and skill requirements and these best practices for technology-enabled teaching and learning practices. This association will also strengthen alumni networking and institutional collaboration.

Session I: Emerging Trends in Tourism & Hospitality Industry – Speaker Aditya Deendayal, Executive Director, Alankrita Resorts - Motivates the gathering to sustain in the Service Industry. So mentioned that AI will not replace the Service Industry.

Session II: Technology Applications in Tourism & Hospitality – Mr. Nagarjuna Reddy - CEO of AI Grid - spoke about his journey asli Hyderabad creating experiences for people. Delhi AI grind, curetting spaces for people. Ratan tata innovation hub from Amaravati every institution must start an entrepreneurial program Which will facilitate the students to have their own jobs.

Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Director of NITHM, addressed the gathering and shared strategic ideas for the institute's future development. In addition to inviting feedback from the alumni, he strongly encouraged current students to build their profiles by proactively participating in campus and industry events. The session concluded with the Director presenting participation certificates to the alumni.

Panel Discussion *The modern methods and trends in Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

1.Mr. Udit Joshi - Associate Director of Sales at Hyderabad International Convention Centre * spoke on Hotel industry and made a clear understanding about how hotel jobs are professional, keeping in view of parents asking questions.

2. Mrs. Anuhya DSS – FM JLL - Facilities are upcoming professional white color jobs.

3. Mr. Nagarjuna Reddy- Slinked in the views of the 1st & 2nd panelist in a more comprehensive way stating that hotel and facility jobs are on similar lines.

4. Mr.Syed Anwar - Director Dream Catcherz Tours*Mentioned that the tourism industry is a booming industry for the global economy.

5. Mr. Nitish Kumar-Training Manager* Mentioned that everybody wants to be servers in a few minutes, especially in QSR's, so people have to be quick in the industry.
