Hon'ble Minister for Tourism, Culture, Excise and Prohibition, Government of Telangana, Sri Jupally Krishna Rao, along with Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, Director, National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), visited the Training and Skill Development Centre at Kollapur to inspect the facilities and review the progress of ongoing training and skill development initiatives.
During the visit, the dignitaries inspected the infrastructure, training facilities, classrooms, and practical training areas. They interacted with officials and reviewed various programs aimed at enhancing the employability and skills of local youth
Sri Jupally Krishna Rao emphasized the importance of skill development in creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthening the tourism and hospitality sectors. Prof. V. Venkata Ramana highlighted NITHM's commitment to providing industry-oriented training and expanding skill development programs in the region.
The visit concluded with discussions on plans for strengthening the centre, enhancing training capacity, and introducing additional programs to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in tourism, hospitality, and related sectors.
