National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management conducted a Hospitality Training in Cooking, Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B Service from 25th May – 08th Jun 2026. A total of 26 SHG women attended the 15-day training. This programme was sponsored by the department SERP - Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty; Department of Rural Development, Govt. of Telengana, Livelihood enterprises for SHG Women- This training was a pilot batch for Tribal women of Gundala Village, Asifabad District.
Shri. Imran Siddiqui – Co-Founder & Director, HYTICOS an NGO that adopted the forest and together with the help of the forest department constructed a small eco-friendly resort with a total of 13 bed capacity (2 bedrooms and 2 tents) for the village people's livelihood. The resort is being constructed with mud and wood, and it’s in the final stage. The opening is being planned for the end of June.
The 26 SHG women were mobilized by HYTICOS, and their team accompanied the women from Asafibad Gundala Forest to Hyderabad for the training and also accompanied them back to their village. The hospitality training for 15 days was in Cooking, Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B Services. These trained women will be given an opportunity for the operations of the resort. This would be additional income, especially on the weekends.
