About Me :
After completing Masters in Tourism Administration (MTA) from H.P. University Shimla, with subjects like Destination Planning, Introduction to Accommodation Industry, Travel Agency and Tour Operation Business, Tourism Marketing, Tourism Resources of India etc., I have Completed internship at Trail Blazer Tours India (TBI), New Delhi.
Worked as faculty with KUONI ACADEMY- the academic division of Kuoni Travels India Pvt Ltd.
Conducted training programmes for Graduate and Under-graduate courses in Travel and Tourism.
Worked as faculty with Indo-American School of Tourism, Anakapalle, Visakhapatnam, AP.
Worked as Asst. Tourism Officer (ATO) at Vizianagaram District, AP Tourism Dept.

Other professional experiences :
Was part of Backpacker Research group conference on March, 2008 consisting participants from 16 countries at Oberoi, CECIL at Shimla with theme “Backpacker Mobilities with special focus on India”
Member of Organizing Committee of World Tourism Week Celebrations (2007 & 2008) Shimla which included various arrangements and planning concerning accommodation, transportation, reservations, venue management, conference devices and coordination.
Attended 10-Days Leadership Development Camp, at Manali in Aug 2008 which included learning & training of adventure sports like trekking, hiking, camping, individual survival courses, rappelling, rock climbing, river crossing, knowledge of equipment used in adventure tourism.
Organized Tourism Awareness Programme in Shimla, and conducted the National Tourism quiz as a part of Tourism Week (2008).
Conducted research at Solang region of Manali valley including the near by villages on “Impact of Tourism- opportunities and challenges for locals”
Completed Project on Tourism in Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), Kullu, H.P. and its impact on local community.

Other interests:
A travelling enthusiast and an adventure seeker with NCC ‘C’ certificated background, have visited India and many countries as a keen tourism destination explorer.
